My name is Lindsey Neumayer and I am an instructional designer at Zions Bancorporation.
Since 2022, I have worked as an instructional designer at Zions Bancorporation. Day to day, my tasks include: creating and editing learner content, partnering with multiple stakeholders across lines of business, and collaborating remotely with colleagues.
My approach to instructional design is learner-focused, collaborative, and solution-oriented.
In my daily work, I use such programs as Articulate Storyline, SnagIt, Camtasia, and the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. I also use the Microsoft Office suite of products in my daily tasks.
From 2018 to 2020, I worked at The Walt Disney Company. I worked as an Advanced Sales Associate for Disney Vacation Club, and as a Sales Coordinator for Golden Oak at Walt Disney World Resort. However, my favorite position at Walt Disney World was as an Educational Facilitator for Disney’s Youth Education Series. In this role, I was responsible for facilitating a physics lab for students of all ages, inside the Magic Kingdom Theme Park during park hours.
In those roles, I strived to find ways to connect with my colleagues and foster growth opportunities. I continued to create learning content for colleagues and leadership in an effort to streamline my way of working in various roles.
While employed at Disney, I used programs such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Asana, Adobe Photoshop, and Google Drive. I continue to partner with several mentors from The Walt Disney Company to this day.
From 2014 – 2018, I worked as a school teacher with Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) at the middle and elementary levels. I earned my undergraduate degree in Exceptional Student Education at the University of Central Florida. During my time at UCF, I completed two years of student teaching.
While working at OCPS, I served as a Resource Teacher for students with exceptionalities. Additionally, I was a collaborative consultant and digital communications mentor within several professional learning communities, where I conducted numerous training sessions for my colleagues.
The main focus of my content was teaching other colleagues how to best reach my student population in the General Education setting.
I achieved this using programs such as Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Spark, Class Dojo, Google Classroom, SMART Board, and Promethean Board.
My hobbies include baking, cooking, photography, blogging, and training my dog, Gnocchi.
